Pass fastener around cable and lock it.
Cut off excess with scissors.
Plug one end of the serial cable into the serial port of your host computer,
and the other end of the cable into the socket on the back of the printer.
Secure both connectors in place with the screws that are provided.
Loading thermal roll paper
This section tells you how to load thermal roll paper into the receipt printer.
Once the paper roll is in place, use the following standard auto feed procedure
for quick and easy automatic feeding of the paper into the receipt printer
mechanism. If you want, you can also load the paper manually using the
procedure described under “Loading thermal roll paper manually” on page 11.
Note:
If you are using the receipt printer’s paper near-end sensor, you may want to
adjust the sensor to match the diameter of the paper roll your are using. See
“Adjusting the near-end sensor” on page 14.
Make sure that the printer is plugged in and turned on.
Open the printer cover.
Pull up the receipt printer mechanism and swing it to a raised position until
it stops.
