13-7PREPARATION for LONG ABEYANCE

1)Performtheabove 13-1 and 13-2maintenancejobs.

2)Drain fuel from the fuel tank and carburetor float chamber.

3)Topreventrustinthecylinder bore, applyoilthroughthesparkplugholeandturnthecrankshaftseveral turns by

hand.Re-installthe plug.

4)Turn the starting pulley by hand and leave it where the resistance is the heaviest,

5)Cleantheengineoutsidewithoiledcloth.

6 ) Put a vinyl or other cover over the engine and store the engine in dry place.
