10.RUN-IN OPERATION OF ENGINE after REASSEMBLY

An overhauled engine must be carefully run-in to get proper engine surface conditions on newly installed parts. A thorough run-in operation is indispensable particularly when cylinder, piston, piston rings,or valves are replaced.

The recommended run-in schedule is as tabulated below.
