3.5. SKIING MODE

3.5.1. Main Display

When you select the Skiing mode, the main display opens. The main display has three rows:

Vertical speed

The top row displays the ascent/descent speed in the units you have defined. (For information on defining the units, see chapter 3.2.6. Units.)

Current altitude

The middle row displays the current altitude in relation to the user-defined reference altitude. The altitude changes if you have selected Alti in the Use function. If you have selected Baro, this row displays the reference altitude. (For more information on this, see chapter 3.3.2. Use.)

Shortcuts

The third row contains shortcuts to three functions. Press Stop/CL to switch between the functions.

Total vertical: Number of runs and the total vertical descent since the logbook was activated. A run is counted for a descent followed by an ascent, both with a vertical difference of at least 50m/150ft.

Elapsed time: Time elapsed since the Logbook was activated (hh:mm.ss)

Time: Current time
