3.5.2. Logbook

Logbook is a memory function that saves the altitude profile of the recorded activity and all the extra information derived from it. Logbook is the default option and is shown on the screen in reversed color.

Starting the logbook

To start the logbook:

1.In the Function menu, Logbook is already the first menu item. Press Suunto to select it.

2.Scroll to Start and press Suunto.

If the logbook is not running and there is enough memory left, saving begins. The message “LOGBOOK STARTED” is displayed and you return to the Function menu.

If the logbook is already active, the message “LOGBOOK ALREADY RUNNING” is displayed and you return to the Function menu where the Stop field is displayed in reversed color.

If there is not enough memory left, the message “MEMORY FULL” is displayed and Suunto S6 moves to a display that asks you to erase a logbook file.

To save a lap time in the logbook, go to the main display of the Skiing mode and press Start. The message “LAP TIME SAVED” is displayed. The number of lap times is not limited.

Stopping the logbook

To stop the logbook:

1.In the Function menu, Logbook is already the first menu item. Press Suunto to select it.

2.Scroll to Stop and press Suunto. The saving stops and the message “LOGBOOK STOPPED” is displayed. You automatically return to the function menu.
