Configuring via the MK1000 Configuration MenuOverview
The MK1000 can be configured for operation with PCK based a pplications using the
MK1000 Configuration menu. In addition, if running a custom appl ication not based on PCK
emulation, the MK1000 Configuration menu is the only meth od for configuring the unit.
The MK1000 Configuration menu can be accessed loca lly using the MK1000 function
buttons, locally by scanning programming bar codes, or rem otely via a Telnet client.
From the MK1000 Configuration menu all MK1000 parameters can be a ccessed except
the PCK communication interface (Change/Select Host Type), software handshaking, and
RS-485 Net ID. These parameters can only be accessed from the PCK Confi guration
