Intercharacter Delay
Select the intercharacter delay option matching host requirements. The intercharacter
delay gives the host system time to service its receiver and perform other tasks between
characters. The delay period can range from no delay to 99 ms in 1 ms increments (if you
are using a cradle and RTS/CTS handshaking, the delay period can range from 5 ms to 99
ms). After scanning the bar code below, scan two bar codes beginning on page 5-101 to
set the desired time-out. If you make an error, or wish to change your selection, scan
CANCEL on page 5-103.
