Removing the Battery

1. Slide the release latch dow n using center indent and remove the cover.

2. Slide the battery toward the bottom of the scanner and then pull the bottom of the

battery back and out of the scanner.

Replacing the Battery

1. Place the top p ortion of the battery (curved side up, contacts toward top) into the

scanner and then slide it up the handle.

2. Replace the battery comp a rtment cover.

3. Slide the releas e latch up to secure the cover in place.
