<To simplify explanations, instructions refer to names of buttons and controls on the front panel, making no mention of the use of remote control unit.

<Names colored in blue are mainly used for the receiver.

<Encircled names are exclusive for DVD operation.

Remote Control Unit

ARemote Select buttons (RECEIVER, CD, TAPE/MD, TV, VCR, DVD, CABLE, SAT)

You have to select the device you want to operate by pressing the corresponding button, or the remote control will not work at all.

If you want to operate the receiver, first press the RECEIVER button, and then press other buttons (POWER, VOLUME, etc.) to operate the receiver.

BMACRO (M1, M2, M3)

Use these buttons to execute the programmed macro functions.

CSELECT

After pressing the SP SETUP or the PLII PARA button, use these buttons to change the setting.

DOSD

Use this button to display the OSD (on-screen display).

EDirection buttons (up/down/left/right)

Use these buttons to select an item in the OSD.

In FM tuner mode, these buttons are used for RDS function.

FENTER

Use this button to enter your selection.

GSLEEP

Use this button to set sleep timer.

HTUNING

Use these buttons to tune in a station.

ILED

When buttons are pressed, LED will light.

JCHANNEL/LEVEL

Use these buttons to adjust the level of each speaker.

When controlling TV or VCR, these buttons can be used to select a channel.

KMUTING

Use this button to mute the sound temporarily.

LT.TONE

Use this button to output the test tone.

MDIMMER

Use this button to dim or turn off the display.

NP.SCAN

Use this button to scan preset channels.

OPRESET

Use these buttons to select a preset channel.

PNumeric buttons

When controlling a device other than receiver, these buttons can be used to select track numbers, TV channel, etc.
