1The80E01 m odule risetime is estimated using the formula risetime = 0.35/bandwidth. The 80E06 module risetime is
estimatedusi ng theformula risetim e = 0.35/(typical bandwidth).
23.5 mm female to 2.4 mm male adapter is provided.
3Measuredat 1 ps/div.
4Becausethe 2.4 m m connectorof this adapter will m echanically interface with the 1.85 mm connector of the80E06, it
servesas a 1.85 m m-to-2.92m m adapterfor the 80E06 module.
As shown in Figure 1, the sampling modules havetwo independent channels
(80E01 and 80E06 each have one channel), each with it s own acquisition
circuitry.
The strobe drive signal fromthe instrument controls the timing of the strobe
assertion to each acquisition system and guarantees sampling coincidence
between thechannels in a sampling module.
CAUTION. Toprevent electrostati cd amage to the main instrument and samplin g
modules, follow the precautionsdescribed in this manual and the manuals
accompanying your instrument. (SeeE lectrostatic Discharge on page 6.)
