This produces the Add Unlisted or Updated
Printer dialog. Note that the List of Printers
includesP300 and P400 Card Printers and not
P500 and P600 Printers. At this software revi-
sion the P300 can be used. However, support
exists only for single side printing.
Click on OK and the printer driver installs and
appearsin the Installed Printers list in the Print-
ers dialog box.
Using theWindows 95Driver
Following driver installation, the Privilege
printer becomes a selectable device accessed
from the dialog that appears with selection of
File, Print… Therefore, users can send images
created in an associated application to the
printer for card imaging.
Print dialogs offer settings that reflect the
uniqueness of the selected driver. Like other
printers, Privilege printers have many opera-
tional parameters that a user can vary. Users
canaccess many of these settings by clicking on
the Properties button. Applications can place
thisbutton either in the Print dialog or an asso-
ciated sub dialog.
