Time programming function
This function may be used in two different ways: - to switch an element off automatically
- as a timer
WARNING: The timer should not be used as a safety measure in order to leav cooktop unsupervised during use, especiallydat high temperatures. Breaded items can smoke. Overheated food and oil can catch on fire. Supervise the cooktop if the time program is on.
Switching an element off automatically
Enter the time period for the required element. The element will switch off automatically once this time has elapsed.
It is programmed as follows | The cooktop must be switched on. |
1.Select the element and heat setting required. Then pressTIMERthesymbol.
The kk andMin | indicators | light | up | on the time programming function display. |
The 0 indicator | lights up | on | the | selected element. |
2.Program time using the 0 to 9 symbols or using the + and - symbols. T settings are displayed.
+symbol: 30 minutes - symbol: 10 minutes
After a few seconds, the programmed time will start to count down.
The last programmed cooking time will appear in the display.
Once the time has elapsed The element switches off once this time has elapsed. You will hear a beep. T indicators 0 and0 blink on the element. The indicators switch off and the displa beep turns off by pressingTIMERthe symbol.
Correcting the time
Cancelling the automatic OFF function
Select the element and then pressTIMERthe symbol. Change the cooking time using the 0 to 9 symbols or using the + and - symbols.
Select the desired element pressTIMERthe symbol. Then press 0theor - symbol until kk is displayed. The0 indicator will go out.
