PG restrictingPG or above rated programs. PG stands for
ParentalGuidance, content of which is mild.
Mrestricting M or above rated programs. M stands for
Mature,content of which is moderate in impact.
MA restricting MA or above rated programs. MA stands
forMature Accompanied, content of which is strong.
Rrestricting R rated programs. R stands for Restricted
toadults aged 18 years or over , content of which is very
strong.
AV restricting AVrated programs. AV stands for Adult
Video,content of which is very hardcore.
NOTE If a certain program does not have any classification
information, your restriction setting will not take ef-
fecton it.
If anyone try to watch a programthat is out of the basis clas-
sification, the person has to enter the personal identification
number. To change the number,select the Change PIN Code
menu; then an input box appears. You have to enter your de-
sirednumber twice for confirmation.
Youcan also restrict uses of some menus. Selectingthe Ac-
cess Control menu displays a list of menus that you can lock.
If the Time Setting item is set to Locked, you have to enter
the personal identification number to use when you have se-
lected the Time Setting menu. If you enter a wrong number,
youcannot use the menu. Similarly,you have to enter the per-
sonal identification number when you have switched on the
digitalreceiver if the IRD Lock item is set to Locked. IRD (In-
tegratedReceiver Decoder) is another name of digital receiver.
Torelease a shut item, set it to Unlocked.
