Youshould set the Search Mode option to Auto at the first ser-
vice searchafter installing the digital receiver. Thedigital re-
ceiver will searchall available services with automatic search
mode. Transponder numbers range from 6 to 12 at VHF and
28to 69 at UHF.
Tosearch a certain transponder, set the Search Mode option
toManual, and select your desired transponder at the Channel
parameter.
Tosearch one service of a transponder, set the Search Mode
optionto Advanced, and specify the PIDs of your desired ser-
vice at the PID menu with the numeral buttons. PID (Packet
Identifier) is a set of numbers that identifies transport stream
packets.
Tostart service search, selectthe Service Search command.
Thenappears a list box, in which found services will be listed.

hasbeen completed. Tostop service search on the way or exit
withoutsaving, press the ¤

4.2 Resetting to factory settings
Thedigital receiver maintains the following data:

Preferencesettings
Youcan reset all data of the digital receiver. To reset all the
data, select the Installation >Factory Setting menu. Then a
confirmationbox appears. With the Yesreply, service entries,
favoriteentries and timer events will be all deleted, and pref-
erence parameters will be resetto the manufacturer ’s factory
settings.
