9.1 Updating the ﬁrmware

Froma computer via USB port

Youcan transfer a new ﬁrmware to the digital receiver from

your computer connecting them with a USB cable. You need

TFDN USB,the ﬁrmware transfer utility for this, which is avail-

ableat the Topﬁeld web site, http://www.i-topfield.com.

Toupdate ﬁrmware with this method, perform the following

steps:

1. Download a new ﬁrmware applicable to the digital re-

ceiverfrom the Topﬁeld web site.

2. DownloadTFDN USBfromthe Topﬁeld web site.

3. Plug a USB cable into the USB port on the digital re-

ceiverand the corresponding port on your computer.

4. Turnon the digital receiver.

5. RunTFDN USB.

Find button to select the

2. Press ¤

Download button to start

theﬁle transfer.

3. Press ¤

Stop button to cancel the
