Thewall outlet shall be installed near the equipment and
shallbe easily accessible.
The digital receiver is designed to receive, record and
playback video and audio signals. Anyother use is ex-
presslyprohibited.
Whensetting up the digital receiver, make sure it is in a
horizontalposition.
Do not expose the digital receiverto any moisture. The
digital receiveris designed for use in dry rooms. Ifyou
douse it outdoors, ensure that it is protected from mois-
ture, such as rain or splashing water. Do not place any
vesselssuch as vases on the digital receiver. Thesemay
beknocked over and spill fluid on the electrical compo-
nents,thus bring about a risk.
Useonly dry cloth when cleaning the digital receiver.
Donot place the digital receiver close to heating units or
in direct sunlight, as this will impair cooling. Place the
digital receiveron a hard, level surface. Do not lay any
objectssuch as magazines on the digital receiver. When
placedin a cabinet, make sure there is a minimum space
of 10cm around it. Forthe physical specification of the
digitalreceiver, refer to Table 2.2.
Protectthe power cord from being walked on or pinched
particularly at plugs, receptacles, and the point where
theyexit from the digital receiver.
Onlyuse accessories specified by the manufacturer.
Thunderstroms are a danger to all of electrical devices.
Evenif the digital receiver is switched off, it can be dam-
