Closed c'c_tion problems

Closedcaptionproblems

If theprogram or video you have selectedis not closedcaptioned,
no captions appear on the screen.If text is not available, a black
rectangle may appear.
If this happens, turn off the closed caption feature, see "Using
closed captions" onpage 68.
A closed caption signal may not display correctly under the
following circumstances:
+***Therecording is dubbed
+***Thesignal reception isweak
+***Thesignal reception isnon-standard

Ratingblocking{V-Chip)problems

Forgotten PIN code.
When the PIN code screen appears, press the INFO button 4 times
within approximately 5 seconds. The old PIN code is cleared, see
"Forgotten PIN code" on page 74.
The V-Chip feature isavailable for U.S.V-Chip systems only, see
"Using parental controls (for USAregion)" onpage 75.

NoNDlVll®C[Coperation

The HDMI_ CEC feature is available forToshiba HDMI _ CEC
compatible devices.
Ensure that HDMP cables with the (H.=_m!)Logo are used.
When the connected HDMP' CEC device doesnot work correctly
after you have changed settings of the device, turn off your TV and
unplug the power cord, then plug in and turn on again.
If several devices are connected, the HDMI _ CEC feature may not
operate properly.
Read the instruction manual furnished with the connected HDMP'
CEC device.
