Setting up your computer

To install a memory module:

1Turn the computer off.

CAUTION: Do not try to install a memory module with the computer in Standby or Hibernation mode. You can damage the computer and the module.

2Remove all cables connected to the computer.

3Turn the computer upside down and remove the main battery module.
