7.9 Single Clip Backup

The SINGLE CLIP BACKUP window allows the creation of a Backup using as little as one or as many as all cameras.

1. General / Schedule / Clip Switches between the General Backup window, Scheduled Backup window and the

Clip Backup Window.

2. Backup Drive Allows you to choose the CD-ROM or Hard Disk Drive where the backup will be written to.

3. Backup Time Specifies at what time the Backup Schedule is executed. You may also configure the backup to

repeat daily at any given hour.

4. Backup button Clicking this button begins the backup with the parameters you have specified.

5. Format CD Clicking this button opens the DirectCD Format Utility.

6. Include Viewer Checking this box causes the Backup Viewer to be included with your backup, simplifying the

process of viewing your backup on a third-party computer.

7. Clip Information This area permits you to enter a short memo for your backup, a title and displays the current

user’s username.

8. Channel Selection Permits you to chose the channel(s) to backup from.
