1. Introduction
This manual is intended to help implement safe and correct transportation, installation and wiring of the
G8000 Series Uninterruptible Power System (hereafter referred to "UPS").
Before transportation, installation and wiring of the UPS, please read through all of the chapters. Above
all, read the “General Safety Instructions,” “Important Safety Instructions,” “Safety Precautions” and
“Installation Precautions” chapters, as these must be carefully read. Please make sure that you have a
thorough understanding of the information in these 4 chapters.
Personnel that will install the UPS should carefully read this manual before installation.
Keep this manual close to the UPS so you can refer whenever necessary.
Also, please read through the "Operation Manual." The Operation Manual describes the important
instructions to be used during UPS operation. The manuals should remain together.
