The Log Server

Options

The Options menu consists of only one function; Network Retry.

Network Retry

Network Retry allows you to set the number of seconds that the Log Server should wait before attempting to connect in the event that the previous connection attempt failed. When you click this item, a dialog

box, similar to the one below appears:

Key in the desired number of seconds and click OK to finish.

Help

The Help menu consists of two options; Contents and About Log Server.

Contents

Selecting the Contents function will bring up an online Windows Help file. The help file contains instructions about how to setup, operate and troubleshoot the Log Server.

About Log Server

Selecting the About Log Server option will pull up a dialog box that gives you the version number of the Log Server.

The Log Server Main Screen — Overview

The Log Server Main Screen is divided into two main panels; an upper (List) panel that displays all of the devices that have been added to the Log Server and a lower (Event) panel that displays the log events for the currently selected B064-Series KVM Switch. To select a B064-Series KVM Switch unit in the list, simply click on it.
