Troubleshooting

If your phone is not performing to your expectations, please try these simple steps first.

Symptom	Suggestion
The charge/in use LED or charge LED	• Make sure the AC adapters are plugged into each charging cradle and wall outlet.

	• Make sure the AC adapters are plugged into both the base and wall outlet.
	• Disconnect the AC adapter for a few minutes, then reconnect it.
	• Make sure that you are not too far from the base.
	• Make sure that the base antenna is in a vertical position.
The handset doesn’t ring or	• Re-register both handsets (see page 13).
receive a page.	• The battery pack may be weak. Charge the battery for 15-20 hours.
	• The handset may be too far away from the base unit.
	• Place the base unit away from appliances or metal objects.
	• Check the battery pack to insure there is a secure connection.
	• Make sure the ringer volume isn’t “off”.
