STORING A MIXED MODE NUMBER
If your phone service is set for
pulse dialing, you can store a mixed
mode number to easily access
automated services (such as
banking) that require tones within
their systems. (See page 18 for
Voice Memory Entry Tips.)
1) Remove the handset from the base.
2) Press
store
. The
talk
LED blinks and, in speaker mode, the
speaker
LED lights.
You will hear:
For example: Press

, then

.
3) You will hear:
For example: say “My Bank.”
Then you will hear:
To confirm, repeat the name “My Bank.”
4) You will hear:
Enter the number you want to
store in pulse mode on the keypad.
For example: Enter
555 5555
.
5) Press (tone) on the handset.
6) Enter the number (such as an account number).
For example: Enter
1234
.
7) Then press
store
.
8) You will hear:
Then, you will hear a confirmation beep.

“Enterthe phone number
thenpress store,” if you do
notmake an entry within 10
seconds,the handset beeps
andthe programming
procedurecancels.
Ifyou need a pause to
separategroups of numbers
duringdialing, press
pause
.
This4 second
pause
counts
asone digit. Pressing
pause
morethan once increases
thelength of the pause
betweennumbers.
Toautomatically select the first available (empty)
memorylocation, press
0
,then
0
.
Toenter a number into memory without a name,
skipvoice entry and go to step 4.
Whenthe voice prompt says
“Sayyes or no,” if you don’t
sayanything within 3
seconds,you will hear
“closerplease.” If you still
don’trespond, the handset
beepsand the programming
procedurecancels.
