Turn until hiss heard.

This lowers the squelch gate so that everything gets through.

Turn just until hiss stops.

This raises the "squelch gate" allowing only strong signals to get through.

Keypad Lockout

Keypad lockout lets you disable all keypad keys (except B ) to prevent accidental pressing of a key.

To lock the keypad:
