Step 1. rollow installationSteps 1 and 2 under VerticalTerminations.
Step 2. Using the plumb bob, mark the centre- line of the ventingsystemon the ceiling
'and drill a smallholethroughthe ceiling
. and roof at this point. From the roof, locatethe drill hole and markthe outline of the CathedralCeilingSupportBox.
Step3. Removeshinglesor other roof covering as necessaryto cut the rectangularhole for the Support Box. Cut the hole 1lg largerthanthe SupportBoxouiline.
Step4. Lowerthe SupportBox throughthe hole
in the roof untilthe bottomof the Support Box protrudesat least2 inchesbelowthe ceiling. (Fig. 17) Align the SupportBox both verticallyand horizontallywith a level.Temporarilytackthe SupportBoxin place throughthe inside walls and into the roof sheathing.

Step 5. Usingtin snips,cut the SupportBoxfrom the top cornersdownto the roofline,and fold the resulting flaps over the rool
sheathing.(Fig. 18) Before naitingit to 'ttreroof, run a bead of
mastic around the top edges of the SupportBox,to makea sealbetweenthe Box and the roof. Clean out any combustible material from inside the SupportBox.
Step 6. Comptete the Carhedral Ceiting Installation by following the same proceduresoutlinedin Steps4 through9 for VerticalTerminations.
