CHARGING THE BATTERY

Before using the tablet battery for the first time, Wacom recommends that you plug in the power adapter and allow the battery to charge. You can continue with the installation process and work with the tablet while the battery is charging. The battery will take approximately five to six (5 to 6) hours to fully charge. Note that fully charging or discharging the battery does not extend the battery life as Li-Ion batteries do not have a memory.

To charge the battery, plug the round end of the power adapter into the tablet power connector port. Then connect one end of the adapter’s power cable to the power adapter, and the other end to an active power outlet.

Recharge the battery before it gets too low – this will ensure the tablet battery is always ready for mobile operation

Note: Charge the battery whenever its charge is low, as indicated by a low battery alert on your screen. When the power indicator light starts flashing, the battery is nearly empty and the tablet will soon cease to function properly.
