4Press the Start/Enter button to confirm TX POLL. The display
prompts you to e nter a 4-dig i t poll co de.
Note: The poll code is preset to 0000 at the factory. This setting
repres ents no pol l c ode.
5If you want to use a poll code, enter a 4-digit code (except 0000).
6Press the Start/Enter button.
Or
If you do not want to secure the transmission w ith a Poll c ode, press the
Start/Enter button whe n the disp lay show s 00 00 for TX-POL L CODE .
If you previously entered a poll code, and do not want one, you may
enter 0000 and then press the Start/Enter butt on.
The machine stores the document in memory. The display shows a
count of t h e num be r of p age s be ing stored in me mory and t he remain i ng
memory capacity.
7The machine returns to Standby mode and displays a reminder that a
Polling Transmission is set. The machine automatically switches to
FAX mode (automatic receiving) when configured to be polled.
