Sending a Fax Using a Speed Dial Number
1Adjust the document guides to match the width of the document.
2Slide the document face down into the Automatic Document Feeder
until it is grasped and pulled into the machine.
Note: Pressing the Express button automatically selects Standard
resolution. This wi ll allow the WorkCentr e 480cx to scan each page into
memory in three seconds, reducing total fax time.
3Press the Speed button, then enter a two digit speed dial location
number. For information on s toring numbers in memory, Speed Dialing
on pa ge 3-1 9.
4Press the Start/Enter button to dial the nu mber.
The machine will scan the d ocument and dial the num ber auto matically .
When the remote fax machine answers, the document will be
transmitted automatically.
Note: You can store One-Touch or Speed Dial numbers so you can dial
your most frequently used numbers with one touch of a button or a two digit
