Error Messages
If an error occurs during operation, one of the following error message numbers will appear in
the display.
Stop operation of the AG-Stomp and follow one of the solutions described below.
E1: MIDI Receive Buffer Full
CAUSE: Too much MIDI data is being received and the buffer is full
SOLUTION:Try reducing the amount of data being sent, or break the data into smaller blocks.
E2: Communication Error
CAUSE: An abnormality is detected during MIDI communications.
SOLUTION:Check all connections, etc. and try again.
E3: Bulk Receive Check Sum Error
CAUSE: The check sum does not match the received MIDI bulk dump data.
SOLUTION:Check all connections and transmitted data, and try again.
E4: Bulk Receive Data Abnormality
CAUSE: An abnormality is detected while receiving the bulk dump.
SOLUTION:Check all connections and transmitted data, and try again.

No Sound

Is the power adaptor properly connected?
Is the volume level on the guitar amplifier turned
up?
Is the VOLUME knob set to “0”?
Is the OUTPUT knob set to “0”?
If an EXP pedal is being used to control the
volume, try stepping on the pedal.
Is the Tuner Mode active? Press the [UTILITY]
button or press the BANK switch to return to
the Play Mode.
If power is being supplied to the electric-
acoustic guitar from the AG-Stomp.
• Is the +9V SUPPLY switch set to “ON”? (
page 12).
• Is the electric-acoustic guitar��s pre-amplifier
battery replaced with the dummy battery? (
page 12).
Trouble Shooting

Rotating the Knobs Does Not Change

the Sound

Turn the knob until the value in the display
changes, then adjust the setting. ( page 13)
Is that knob’s effect switched ON? After se-
lecting the effect, by pressing the effect but-
ton, turn the knob to adjust the setting. ( page
14)

Can Not Transmit MIDI

Is the MIDI channel matched with the MIDI
channel of the receiving device? ( page 25)
Is the MIDI Merge set to “OFF”? ( page 25)

Can Not Receive MIDI

Is the AG-Stomp in the Play Mode? Return to
the Play Mode and try receiving again.
Is the AG-Stomp’s MIDI receive channel set to
the same MIDI channel used by the transmit-
ting device? ( page 25)
