Ground (GND terminal) For minimum interference, connect the antenna GND terminal to a good earth ground. A good earth ground is a metal stake driven into moist earth.
1Connect the supplied AM loop antenna to the AM ANT terminal. Place the AM loop antenna on a shelf or attach it to a stand or wall.
2Connect the supplied FM wire antenna to the FM ANT terminal. Extend the FM wire antenna and fix its ends to the wall.
Notes
–Adjust the position of the antennas for optimal reception.
–Place the antennas as far as possible from your TV, VCR or other sources of radiation to prevent unwanted interference.
–The AM loop antenna should be placed away from this DVD receiver.
–A properly installed outdoor antenna provides clearer reception than an indoor one. If you experience poor reception quality, an outdoor antenna may improve the quality. Consult the nearest authorized YAMAHA dealer or service center about outdoor antennas.
