FM/AM TUNING

Automatic presetting

You can select the preset number from which this DVD receiver will store stations and/or begin tuning toward lower frequencies.

1Press TUNER repeatedly to select “TUNER/FM” or “TUNER/AM”.

2Press b/ aor use the numeric keypad (0-9) to select the preset number under which the first station will be stored.

3Press and hold PROG until “AUTO PRESET” appears.

Notes

Any stored station data existing under a preset number is cleared when you store a new station under that preset number.

If no preset number is selected, automatic preset begins from preset (1) and all former preset will be overwritten.

Manual presetting

You can choose and store only your favorite stations by manually. Also, if the station you want to store is weak in signal strength, store it by manually.

1Tune into a station which you want to store (see “Tuning stations” on page 39).

2Press PROG.

3Press b/ ato select a preset number.

Press ato select a higher preset number and press bto select a lower preset number.

4Press PROG again to store.

5Repeat steps 1 to 4 to store other stations.

Selecting preset stations

You can tune any desired station simply by selecting the preset number under which it was stored.

Press b/ aor use the numeric keypad (0-9)to select a desired preset number.

The station band, preset number, and frequency appear in the front panel display.

Deleting a preset radio station

1Tune into a station which you want to delete (see “Tuning stations” on page 39).

2Press and hold son the front panel until “AM XX DELTD” or “FM XX DELTD” (XX: preset number)

appears.

The selected station is deleted.
