the Dolby Digital playback sound field or DTS playback sound field.

o If Dolby Digital Surround EX software or DTS ES software is played when AUTO is selected by pressing the EX/ES button on the

remote control, the Dolby Digital EX or DTS-ES compatible decoder usually turns on and the corresponding DSP program is selected.

o EX/ES on the remote control can be used to play Dolby Digital or DTS 5.1 channel sources with the rear center speaker. In this case

the program name changes to the corresponding name for 6.1 channel.

o When playing a 6.1 channel source with the Dolby Digital EX decoder or the DTS-ES compatible decoder turned off, the program

name changes to the corresponding name for 5.1 channel.
