AVERTISSEMENT !

Si vous ne suivez pas scrupuleusement les instructions, un incendie ou une explosion peut se déclarer occasionnant des dégâts matériels, des blessures, voire la mort.

Ne pas tenter d’allumer le chauffe-eau si vous suspectez une fuite de gaz naturel. Allumer le chauffe-eau peut alors provoquer un incendie ou une explosion, et donc des blessures, la mort et des dégâts matériels.

A.Cet appareil électrique est équipé d’un pilote qui doit être allumé manuellement. En allumant le pilote, prenez soin de bien suivre les instructions ci-dessous.

B.Avant de faire fonctionner, rechercher autour de l’appareil toute odeur de gaz. Prenez soin de rechercher cette odeur au ras du sol également. En effet, certains gaz sont plus lourds que l’air et resteront au ras du sol.

QUE FAIRE EN CAS D’ODEUR DE GAZ ?

-N’allumez aucun appareil électrique.

-Ne touchez à aucun interrupteur, n’utilisez aucun téléphone dans votre immeuble.

-Contacter immédiatement la compagnie du gaz à partir du téléphone d’un voisin et suivre leurs consignes.

-Si vous ne pouvez joindre la compagnie du gaz, contacter les pompiers.

C.N’utilisez que la main pour enfoncer ou tourner la manette de contrôle du gaz. Ne jamais utiliser d’outil. Si l’on ne peut enfoncer ou faire tourner la manette à la main, n’essayez pas de la réparer. Contacter un technicien qualifié. Une réparation forcée ou même une tentative peuvent provoquer un incendie ou une explosion.

D.Ne pas utiliser cet appareil si une quelconque pièce a pris l’eau. Contacter immédiatement un technicien d’entretien qualifié pour examiner le chauffe-eau et remplacer toute pièce du système de contrôle et du contrôle du gaz qui a pris l’eau.

CONSIGNES DE FONCTIONNEMENT

1.STOP ! Lire les consignes de sécurité ci-dessus.

2.Mettre le thermostat au plus bas.

3.Mettre le chauffe-eau hors tension.

4.Enfoncer légèrement la manette de contrôle du gaz et tourner dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à la position ‘’OFF’’.

À NOTER

La manette ne peut être déplacée de la position ‘’Pilote’’

àla position ‘’OFF’’ que si elle est légèrement enfoncée. Ne pas forcer.

5.Attendre cinq (5) minutes pour être sûr que le gaz n’arrive plus. Si vous sentez alors le gaz, ARRÊTEZ ! et suivez le point B des consignes de sécurité ci-dessus. Si vous ne sentez rien, avancez à l’étape suivante.

6.Tourner la manette de contrôle du gaz à l’inverse des aiguilles d’une montre en position ‘’Pilote’’.

7.Maintenir la manette enfoncée jusqu’au bout. Allumer immédiatement le pilote avec le système d’allumage sans allumette Presslite, en poussant le bouton rouge igniteur (situé sur le panneau à côté de la soupape de gaz).Continuer à maintenir la manette de contrôle pendant environ une (1) minute après que le pilote se soit allumé. Relâcher la manette et elle se remettra en place. Le pilote doit rester allumé. S’il s’éteint, répéter les phases 4 à 7.

• Si la manette ne se remet pas en place lorsqu’elle est relâchée, arrêtez et contacter immédiatement le technicien d’entretien

ou la compagnie du gaz.

•Si le pilote ne reste pas allumé après plusieurs essais, tournez la manette

de gaz en position ‘’OFF’’ et Pilote appelez le technicien d’entretien ou

la compagnie du gaz.

8.Tourner la manette du gaz à l’inverse des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à la position ‘’ON’’.

9.Replacer la porte d’accès au contrôle.

10.Mettre le thermostat à la position

désirée.

FEMER L’ARRIVÉE DU GAZ VERS L’APPAREIL

1.Mettre le thermostat à température la plus basse.

2.Mettez l’appareil hors tension pour toute manipulation d’entretien.

3.Enlever la porte d’accès au tableau de contrôle.

4.Enfoncer légèrement la manette de contrôle du gaz et

tourner dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à la

position OFF. NE PAS FORCER.

5.Replacer la porte d’accès.
