Basic Operation

LIGHT button

Press the LIGHT button to turn on/off Keypad backlight.

FREEZE button

Press the FREEZE button on the remote control to freeze the picture on the screen. To cancel the FREEZE function, press the FREEZE button again or press any other button.

Fig.1 will appear when the Freeze function is working.

P-TIMER button

Press the P-TIMER button on the remote control to operate the Count up/Count down function. Refer to p.68 for detail of Setting for the P-timer function for a few seconds. To stop the count time, press the P- TIMER button. To cancel the P-timer function, press and hold the P-TIMER button.

FILTER button

Press and hold the FILTER button for more than five seconds to operate electrically operated filter to replace the filter.

Note

The filter cannot be rewound.

When the filter is replaced, the total accumulated time of the filter use is automatically set to 0.

IMAGE SEL. button

Press the IMAGE SEL. button on the remote control to select a desired image level of the screen.

PIP button

Press the PIP button on the remote control several times until the desired mode of Picture in Picture appears. Each user mode (User 1-5) appears only when it has stored data.

Press and hold the PIP button for more than 3 seconds to display the setting dialog box of Picture in Picture. See pages 55-56 for details of Picture in Picture function.
