1Grasp the handle, and then pull the standard 250-sheet tray (Tray 1).

2Firmly grasp the jammed paper on each side, and then gently pull it out. Note: Make sure all paper fragments are removed.

3Insert the tray.

4From the printer control panel, touch Continue, jam cleared.

242 paper jam

1Grasp the optional 650-sheet tray handle, and then pull the tray out.

Note: The optional 650-sheet tray is supported only in select printer models.

2Firmly grasp the jammed paper, and then gently pull it out. Note: Make sure all paper fragments are removed.

3Insert the tray.

4From the printer control panel, touch Continue, jam cleared.
