Error messages

The error messages shown in the table below may appear on the message display. Follow the instructions in the table before calling for service.

Error Message	Problem		Solution
CHECK FOLDER	FINISHER CONFIG TYPE	1.	Press the On-line/Off-line
FOLDER COMMUNICATIONS ERROR #17	enabled, but no folder is		key to take the printer off-
