Channel Width: Select the Channel Width:

z20MHz - Select if you are not using any 802.11n wireless clients.

zAuto 20/40 - This is the default setting. Select if you are using both 802.11n and non-802.11n wireless devices.

Authentication Type: The authentication type default is set to open system.

There are four options: Disabled, WEP, WPA, and WPA2.

WEP Encryption

Key Type: Open System and Shared Key requires the user to set a WEP key to exchange data with other wireless clients that have the same WEP key.

WEP Key: Select the level of encryption from the drop-down list.

Mode: Select the key type: ASCII or HEX

Key 1 ~ Key 4: Enables users to create up to 4 different WEP keys. Manually enter a set of values for each key. Select a key to use by clicking the radio button next to the key.
