Installation Prerequisites
Caution Before using a Flash memory card previously formatted and used in an RSP, RSP7000, RSP1, RSP2, or RSP4, you must reformat the Flash memory card. Flash memory cards formatted on any of these processors do not work properly in an RSP8. You must first reformat it on your RSP8 system. Refer to Flash Memory Card Installation Instructions for instructions on reformatting Flash memory.
You must also format any flash disk for the RSP8 on an RSP8. Also see the Using the Flash Disk document.
