Connecting to the access point wirelessly (Wi-Fi)

Using the WPS function

Connect to the access point equipped with the WPS function easily.

1Press and hold the power button to power off.

2Disconnect the LAN cable that connects the camera to your computer.

3Set the network mode switch to "WLAN".

4Press and hold the power button to power on. The record button starts blinking. Wait until it stops blinking and off.

5Enable the WPS function of the access point. (Example) Press the "WPS" button.

For how to enable the WPS function, refer to the instruction manual of the access point.

6Press and hold the "WPS" button.

When the "WPS" button stops blinking and stays lit, the connection is complete.

If no connection can be established within two minutes, the "WPS" button turns off. Try again, or set up manually.

Searching and connecting to the access point

1Select "WIRELESS NETWORK" in "NETWORK".

If the sub settings are not displayed, click "+" on the left of "NETWORK".

2Click the "SEARCH" button.

3Select an access point to connect to.

If your preferred access point is not in the list, click the "SEARCH AGAIN" button.

It may not be found if there is a long distance or interference.
