UPS Display: Network Configuration Screens

Host Name Settings.

Host name: The network host name for the system. This uniquely identifies the system on the network. Standard letters (a-z and A-Z), digits (1-9) and hyphen (-) can be used.

Domain name: The DNS network domain that the UPS is on. Standard letters (a-z and A-Z), digits (1-9) and hyphen (-) can be used.

SMTP Settings.

From address: The from address to be used when sending e-mails.

SMTP server: The SMTP server responsible for sending e-mails.

Select the Apply Changes button when all information has been entered.

E-mail Settings screen

Network Settings information must be configured prior to enabling e-mail.

Note

From the E-mail Settings screen, configure the e-mail recipients to be notified of alarms, which may occur on the system. The severity of the alarms may be informational, warning or severe and can be specified for each E-mail recipient. Up to 25 e-mail recipients can be entered.

Enable E-mail: Enable the e-mail notifications by selecting this checkbox.

To add a new e-mail recipient, touch the Add New button, type in the e-mail address and specify the minimum severity of alarm.

To edit or delete an e-mail recipient, select the recipient as they appear in the recipient list. Choose to either update or delete the recipient.
