Management Options

The system provides two system management options:

•First time startup interview

•Configuration Tool

First Time Startup Interview

The system uses a built in, easy to configure, interview tool (cos_interview) that allows you to quickly configure your system for basic operations. For further information on the startup interview, refer to the Interface Connections and First Time Start-Upchapter of this guide.

Configuration Tool

The system uses a menu driven configuration interface (cos_config) for configuration purposes. This tool supports adding, modifying, or deleting any of the system configuration parameters. For further information on this tool, refer to the Configuring the System chapter of this guide.
