Figure 7.3: The Port Parameters Screen (Port 1 Shown)

7.3. The Port Parameters Screens (/W)

The /W command displays more detailed information about an individual APS-8/16M port. Rather than listing connection information for all ports like the Port Status Screens, the Port Parameters screen lists all defined parameters for a specific port as shown in Figure 7.3.

The /W command is available to both Supervisor Mode and Non-Supervisor Mode ports and passwords. Note however, that if the /W command is invoked by a port or password that does not permit access to Supervisor Mode, then the APS-8/16M will only display information for your resident port.

7.4. The Password Directory Screen (/V)

The Password Directory Screen (Figure 7.4) lists currently defined parameters for each of the APS-8/16M passwords. Note that the Password Directory screen will not display actual passwords, and instead, will only indicate whether or not a password has been defined for each username.

The Password Directory Screen is only available when the Supervisor Mode is active, and cannot be displayed by ports or passwords that do not permit Supervisor Access. The APS-8/16M allows for the definition of up to 32 separate passwords.
