LED Indicators

Modem-LAM

The Modem-LAM has four LED indicators for status monitoring and troubleshooting:

LED:

TD

Meaning:

The TD (Transmit Data) LED flashes when data is being transmitted.

LED:

RD

Meaning:

The RD (Receive Data) LED flashes when data is being received.

LED:

CD

Meaning:

The CD (Carrier Detect) LED lights when a valid carrier signal from another modem

 

is detected.

LED:

OH

Meaning: The OH (Off Hook) LED lights to indicate to the central office that the MT5634ZLX/FE wants the phone line to do something (i.e., dial or answer a call). This LED is also lit when the MT5634ZLX/FE has achieved on-line status.
