To display the ID of PM IPDU 2, enter the following.

pm>id 2

IPDU #2: id = QA

To rename an ID to “sammy,” using an existing ID “QA,” enter the following.

pm>id QA sammy

IPDU #2 = sammy

To display the IDs of all PM IPDUs in the daisy chain, enter the following.

pm>id

IPDU #1: id = R&D

IPDU #2: id = QA

interval

The interval command configures the power up interval for each outlet in the system. The power up interval of an outlet is the time (in seconds) the unit will wait, after turning this outlet on, to turn on any other outlet. This command is available to the admin user only.

Syntax

interval <outlet_number> <duration>

Arguments

<duration> Sets the power up interval of outlets. Valid intervals are from 0 to 100. Default value is 0.5

NOTE: When this value is set to 0.0, there is still a power up interval of approximately 0.1 seconds between outlets.

<outlet_number> Outlet number, such as “5”, outlet name such as “sunfire”, or group of outlets such as “1, 3-5”

Examples

To display the interval of outlet 1, enter the following.

pm>interval 1

1: Outlet power on interval is 0.0 sec.
