with the Zip® drive. Find the colored stripe or

 

print on one side of the data cable showing

 

PIN 1.

Stripe or printing shows the

PIN 1 side of the data cable.

Locate the PIN 1 connection on the IDE channel. PIN 1 on your computer’s IDE channels can be indicated by any of the following marks. If you have a keyed receptacle, you should only be able to connect the cable one way.
