V.42bis and MNP Command

This chapter explains ECDC commands and Extended commands, which are in addition to the basic modem commands listed in the previous chapter. Some commands have a factory default setting. Refer to your Getting Started manual for information on default settings.

5.1

Maximum ECDC Block Size

MNP block size 64 characters

 

 

\A1

MNP block size 128 characters

 

 

\A2

MNP block size 192 characters

 

 

\A3

MNP block size 256 characters

 

5.2

Transmit Break

[\B]

\Bn Send n/10 seconds of line break to the modem (n = 0 ~ 9, default 3)

5.3 Set Break Control

[\K]

\K0 Enter command mode, do not send a break signal to remote (To send a break after use the \B command)

\K1 Clear data buffer and send a break

\K2 Same as \K0

\K3 Immediately send a break

\K4 Same as \K0

\K5 Send a break in sequence with any data received from the port
