Computer Interfacing

Panasonic Document Management System (hereafter Panasonic-DMS) uses the TWAIN driver to scan images drawn on the screen.

The Panasonic-DMS has a capability of managing documents (image files).

The printer driver allows the printer to print documents from your computer.

*The computer interfacing function of the UB-5315/UB-5815 is not available in Windows NT® 4.0.

*If you connect the electronic board to a USB hub, it is not guaranteed to work.

*Please note that if more than one Panasonic electronic boards are connected in a USB tree, only one of those electronic boards will perform the computer interfacing.

Connecting the unit to a computer

Power on the electronic board, and connect the unit and your computer with a USB cable.

Caution:

* Use a shielded USB cable that is certified as logo by USB-IF.
