Setup overview To set up Share-UPS, you will be required to perform the following procedures as applicable:

1If you are using Share-UPS with other APC acces- sories: Determine where to install Share-UPS with respect to other accessories. See “Installing Multi- ple Accessories” on page 15.

2Install Share-UPS. See “Installing Share-UPS” on page 18.

3Connect the protected devices. See “Connecting Share-UPS” on page 21.

4Configure Share-UPS for automatic shutdown:

a Set the Configuration DIP switches. See “Con- figuring Share-UPS” on page 23.

b Access the Share-UPS menus through the Man- agement port to complete configuration. See “Using the Share-UPS Menus” on page 29.
