Resolução de problemas

Os indicadores luminosos não acendem no painel de controlo

Verifique as ligações do cabo de alimentação e da tomada.

LED DE ERRO iluminado (não intermitente) sem impressão

Se FINAL DO ROLO DE PAPEL estiver iluminado, o papel em rolo não está instalado ou está prestes a encerrar.

Se FINAL DO ROLO DE PAPEL não estiver iluminado, a tampa da impressora não está adequadamente fechada.

LED DE ERRO intermitente, sem impressão (e sem emperramento do papel)

A impressão pára se a cabeça sobreaquece e volta automaticamente quando arrefece.

Se a causa não for o sobreaquecimento, desligue a impressora e ligue-a 10 minutos depois.

Remoção do papel emperrado

CUIDADO:

Não toque a cabeça térmica pois pode ficar muito quente após a impressão.

1.Desligue a impressora e prima o botão para a abertura da tampa.

2.Retire o papel emperrado, reinstale o rolo e feche a tampa.

3.Se o papel estiver preso no cortador e não puder abrir a tampa da impressora, abra a tampa do cortador, como mostra a ilustração J.

4.Mova o botão giratório até ver um triângulo na abertura. Isso fará com que a lâmina do cortador volte à posição normal. Há uma etiqueta perto do cortador para ajudá-lo. Veja a ilustração K.

5.Feche a tampa do cortador.

6.Abra a tampa da impressora e retire o papel emperrado.

Limpeza da cabeça térmica

CUIDADO:

Após a impressão, a cabeça térmica pode ficar muito quente. Tenha o cuidado de não tocá-la e de deixá-la arrefecer antes da limpeza. Não danifique a cabeça térmica tocando-a com os dedos ou com um objecto duro.

Desligue a impressora, abra a tampa da impressora e limpe os elementos térmicos da cabeça térmica com um bastonete de algodão humedecido com um solvente à base de álcool (etanol, metanol ou IPA).

Para manter a boa qualidade impressão, a Epson aconselha a limpar periodicamente a cabeça térmica (de três em três meses).
