Special Symbols

Other warning symbols may appear in conjunction with the Danger, Warning, and Caution symbol and are used to specify special hazards. These warnings describe particular areas where special care and/or procedures are required in order to prevent serious injury and possible death.

1.ELECTRICAL HAZARD SYMBOL – Indicates a hazard that may cause injury from an electrical shock or burn. The symbol is comprised of an equilateral triangle enclosing a lightning bolt.

2.EXPLOSION HARZARD SYMBOL – Indicates a hazard that may cause injury from exploding parts. It is comprised of an equilateral triangle enclosing an explosion image.
